Lyrics

White Sheep

White sheep standing in a line following the leader. Never asking why.
Tired white faces glaring back at me. Following the leader. Never asking why.

Beliefs so ingrained they’ve forgotten they’re just beliefs.
Brainwashed so long ago, there’s no room for the truth.

But don’t let them burn all your dreams to the ground.
And don’t let them lie about you while you stand there without a sound.
Raise your voice. Raise your fist. Raise the question: How?
How did it get to this? How did we get to this? How did they get to this?

Wild eyes darting all around so full of fear and misbelief
Clutching to the scripture that they’ve bound. They wouldn’t dream of questioning.

But don’t let them burn all your dreams to the ground.
And don’t let them lie about you while you stand there without a sound.
Raise your voice. Raise your fist. Raise the question: How?
How did it get to this? How did we get to this? How did they get to this?
